The AusPATH Education Committee is excited to announce that our GP Education Day is happening on Saturday 31 October 2020. This virtual seminar seeks to provide up to date information on the basics of gender affirming care in the general practice setting, including how to prescribe hormones safely and effectively, understanding the informed consent model, using enhanced primary care GP management plans, supporting trans and gender diverse youth, and navigating surgical options. The day will feature informative talks, case discussions and community and GP panels, with live Q and A for participants. Achieving excellence in transgender health care across the lifespan: From evidence to clinical practice 2nd – 6th November 2018 A contemporary overview of the clinical care of trans, gender diverse and non-binary individuals across the lifespan Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October LOCATION: Woodward Conference Centre, University of Melbourne The Education and Training Seminar held at the Woodward Conference Centre, University of Melbourne, was the major educational event for ANZPATH during 2018. Over two days, delegates were presented with clinical updates on best practice for gender-affirming trans, gender diverse and non-binary healthcare. Aimed at both a foundation level for clinicians new to the field as well as those with expert knowledge, highlights included a comparative discussion on healthcare services across Australia and community panels focussed on neurodiversity and non-binary gender identities.Past Events
