FULL MEMBERSHIP
We welcome applications for full membership with AusPATH from individuals who can provide evidence of a relevant professional qualification in any of the following fields:
- Allied Health
- Medicine
- Law
- Nursing
- Research and Academia
- Policy
Applicants should also demonstrate their experience and background in one or more of the disciplines mentioned above, particularly in ways that contribute to the health, rights, or overall well-being of transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary individuals.
Membership offers several significant benefits, including access to AusPATH’s online forums, participation in the journal club (coming soon), inclusion in the service provider directory, and reduced registration fees for the biennial conference, seminars, workshops, and other meetings.
The annual fee for full membership is AU$190.00.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Within the AusPATH constitution, there exists a membership category known as Associate Membership. This category extends membership opportunities to individuals who may not meet the qualifications specified for Full Membership.
AusPATH enthusiastically invites applications from students, community members, and others who align with the objectives, aspirations, and principles of AusPATH.
IMPORTANT: If you meet the requirements for Full Membership, you are not eligible for Associate Membership.
The annual fee for Associate Membership is AU$130.00.
Associate Members enjoy all the benefits of membership, though they do not possess voting privileges.
FULL MEMBERSHIP – TRANS AND GENDER DIVERSE PROFESSIONALS
We extend an invitation for membership applications to AusPATH from transgender professionals, both binary and non-binary, who meet the requirements for full membership but encounter financial constraints that make it challenging to cover the standard annual fee, typically set at $190.
Applicants are expected to meet the eligibility criteria for full membership and are kindly requested to furnish a brief statement outlining these financial obstacles, with the assurance that this information will be treated with utmost confidentiality.
The annual fee for Full Membership, specifically for transgender professionals, is AU$95.
