On behalf of the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health, it is my pleasure to invite you to the Biennial AusPATH Conference, to be held from 5 – 7 August 2021, at Double Tree by Hilton on the Esplanade, Darwin Northern Territory.

The theme of the Conference is Building Bridges: Walking Together into Tomorrow. 

The program will feature a mixture of international and Australian plenary speakers, with an emphasis on local content from experts and community in the Northern Territory. Sessions will represent the domains of medicine, allied health, education, ethics and human rights, with a whole day devoted to trans and gender diverse youth.  There will be workshops, panel discussions and presentation of new research, and of course some brilliant social functions for networking!

We welcome trans people of all genders to attend, and we especially welcome Sistergirls and Brotherboys. We also welcome all doctors-in-training, and parents of trans youth.

The backdrop is beautiful Darwin in the Top End, a setting famous for its relaxed nature, amazing weather and glorious sunsets.  AusPATH 2021 is a unique and exciting opportunity to meet other professionals and community members who are passionate about delivering high quality care and support to the trans community.  You will expand your knowledge, make new acquaintances and catch up with old friends.  You might even meet a croc or two!
